Kareemah Stepney, LISW-CP, S provides clinical supervision to Master’s-level social workers pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia and South Carolina. Supervision is grounded in ethical practice, clinical skill development, and professional sustainability.

I strongly believe that quality clinical supervision can shape the trajectory of a clinician’s career. Having benefited from supportive supervision early in my own journey, I am committed to creating a safe, affirming, and growth-oriented learning environment for supervisees.

Supervision Approach

Supervision is collaborative, structured, and supportive, with attention to both clinical competence and professional well-being. In addition to strengthening clinical skills, supervision emphasizes self-awareness, boundaries, and the development of sustainable self-care practices to reduce burnout, secondary traumatic stress, and compassion fatigue.

Supervision is tailored to the supervisee’s role, setting, and professional goals, whether working in an agency, conducting assessments, or preparing for private practice.
